COW PARADE
Switzerland
The cow parade is a traditional event held every October in Switzerland. The cows are brought down from the high-mountain
pastures before winter sets in. Every farmer leads his herd through the town and adorns his cows with flower headpieces
and clanging cowbells hanging around their necks. The cow that produces the most milk leads the herd wearing the biggest
cowbell and largest bouquet of flowers.
